Upcoming Video Game Releases

The first quarter of 2014 is measuring up to be a very interesting period for video games. And by interesting I mean filled with a bunch of remastered releases of games that have already been out with a few new titles thrown in. Like most familiar with games know the first quarter is kind of slow, with a trickle of games coming through January and February, only for the big titles to release in March. This year is no exception. Here is a recount of some of the games you can expect to see coming within the next coming months.

7 – Don’t Starve: Console Edition – PS4 – The ultimate of survival games wrapped up in a cute and creepy exterior.

14 – Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD- PSN – A re-release of the relatively well received Assassin Creed’s Vita title will be available on PSN and then on 15th on XBLA. Check out a review of the original game here.

28- Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition = PS4, XboxONE – A remastered version of one of last year’s best games is coming to next gen consoles.

25- Rayman Legends – PS4, XboxONE – The classic game is coming exclusively to next gen consoles. While I may not be excited about Rayman. I am excited about a next gen title.

inFamous: Second Son

inFamous: Second Son

4 – South Park: The Stick of Truth – PS3, Xbox360 – It was delayed, but it is finally coming. The RPG looks to be interesting and we should be in good hands with Ubisoft at the helm. They seem to know when a game is ready for release and aren’t afraid to pull something that isn’t. They did it with Watch Dogs recently too.

11- Titanfall – XboxOne – This is a game people have been talking about for a lng time. An epic shooter featuring massive robots. It looks to be interesting, but the game will be entirely online. Yes, you heard it right, there is no solo campaign.

18 – Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes – PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, XboxOne – Metal Gear Solid has been a long running franchise and it’s adding another installment to the grouping.

21 – inFamous: Second Son – PS4 – I’ve been freaking out about this game since I first heard of it. inFamous has always been one of my favorite franchises and I’m glad to see that it isn’t over after the demise of Cole McGrath. With Delsin in control we’re in for a world of new adventure and I can’t wait.
