2014 Oscar Results

The results are in. The big winner of the night was Gravity, who picked up many of the awards they were nominated for. There were no major surprises in the winners and things seemed to go the way it expected. Best Picture went to 12 Years a Slave. As for the actual so, it was a little lackluster. While I generally love Ellen, her monologue was not doing it. In fact aside from the pizza bit and massive a list selfie, the entire gig was kind of meh. I think The Oscars need to do something drastic and non traditional if they really want to bring excitement back into the hosting gig. I’ll embed the best song performances throughout the results.

I’m glad I was 9 out of 14.
