Freya is pissed about Klaus killing Michael. She’s the only one who loved Michael. Then again she is the only child he accepted. However this is driving Rebekah and Elijah exactly where she wants them. She wants them to abandon Klaus. She wants to drive them away and it’s all working in her favor. However, things aren’t going to be quite as easy as she hoped. That doesn’t mean she won’t have her sway. It just isn’t quite as easy because neither Elijah or Rebekah want to choose sides.
Dalia is one big stink on everyone’s parade. She’s dangerous and she wants to steal the child. She claims that she wants no ill will and only wants what she is owed. However, the idea that Esther made a deal that a completely unrelated set of people now need to pay up on. Hayley is being forced to give up her child because of some lady’s deal more than a thousand years before she was born. Dalia doesn’t seem to care. She wants the child and justifies it with the idea that Hope won’t remember Hayley to become bitter as Freya did.
Aidan is still trying to get out of the city. He’s been playing the middle man for far too long. The problem is that he was going to make a grand exist. he was going to flee with Josh and try to get to safety. He didn’t belong in the pack and didn’t want to be a toy. That meant he was being set up to be killed. It was all too obvious and sad. He was just another one of Dalia’s tools and it left him dead before he could get away with Josh. This of course left us with a very upset Josh. It’s heart breaking that we have to watch Josh suffer. If there is any character on this show who doesn’t deserve the heartache it’s Josh.
This however did galvanize Elijah to take Klaus’ side. The problem is Klaus is taking credit for something he had nothing to do with. He’s using it to make others angry and turn against him, but I don’t see the logic beyond making them fear him. I’m not sure what that does for the plan other than force Hayley to leave. Thus when his siblings staked him, my heart went with his desication. Any hope they once had of stopping Dalia left with Klaus
